What are the Akashic Records?
The sanskrit word Akasa translates as aether or space, which is the empty space in which sound and light can be transmitted. It is an all encompassing, unifying field.
The Akashic Records is a field of infinite possibilities, in which information is held which was recorded since our soul’s inception. When we enter this field we may connect with our guides in order to gain some direction on our path.
Our soul’s each have a journey through past present and future. If we travel back in time to any event or moment that has already transpired, we are in a “past life.” By connecting with past lives, our higher self, and future possibilities we are embarking on a journey to connect deeply with our essence… When we receive information about a pattern, it is because it is ready to heal and transform. We will not receive information before we are ready to hear it.
When we access the Akashic Records together, we are working to resolve patterns within the energy field that may be contributing to negative thoughts, beliefs, ideas or body sensations. This will help you to understand your soul better, and access higher states of consciousness.
When accessing the Akashic Records for a client, the practitioner will get into a meditative space. They will often see, sense, imagine, feel, hear or know the answers to the client’s questions. Everyone experiences the field in a different way. Just like we typically dream in our native tongue, the messages of the universe will speak to us in ways in which we are most acclimated.
How my journey into the Akashic Records began
During my healing journey, I have come across some physical and emotional anomalies that could not be explained by physiology alone. I had embarked on nutritional testing, working with naturopaths, acupuncturists, chiropractors, bodyworkers and changed my diet without much change in these elements. This was because I was using the tools that we have available to us in a Western society to work on my body, as opposed to doing deep work on a soul level. This is akin to treating only the lungs for a disease that may be originating from the kidneys and the liver.
Do you need to believe in past lives?
You do not need to believe in past lives in order to benefit from the support of the Akashic Records. Regardless of you spiritual or religious observations, the human form is largely connected to stories. This is one aspect that connects a multitude of traditions and cultures on this planet. We understand our existence based on stories of the past and who we are, where we came from. By unraveling those stories we can unpack the messages that are true for us in this present moment. A “past life” may be any version of you prior to this present one, which can connect you to information that may support your journey.
How does a session look?
An Akashic Records Journey can be done in person or remotely. A session can be added on to an Acupuncture or Bodywork session in person. The beauty of working with the energy field is that you do not need to be in the same room as the practitioner. You are exploring the inner space of your heart and mind and can do so in the comfort of your own home. I will ask the client to sit comfortably or lie down and walk them through a guided meditation to set the session up. I may support the client through gentle energy work, sound healing, or with crystals. The client can come into the session with an intention, questions to ask and a direction for healing, or they can simply go into it with an open mind and be ready to witness what is needing support at the time of the session.
